What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. Below, “cookies” covers all of them.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the site to work, so they don't need your consent. They are never used for advertising.
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in | Until you sign out, up to 7 days |
better-auth.two_factor | Remembers a device you trust for two-step login, when you choose that | Up to 30 days |
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers your language | 1 year |
currency | Remembers the currency you chose to see prices in | 1 year |
bkz_checkout | Links your browser to a checkout in progress, so only you can complete it | Until the hold ends |
bkz_consent | Remembers your cookie choices | 6 months |
bkz_attr | Remembers which advert or campaign brought you here (only with your consent to marketing cookies) | 30 days |
bkz_anon | A random number that lets us record your cookie choices if you are not signed in | 6 months |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Set by Stripe on the payment page to prevent card fraud | 1 year / 30 minutes |
If you are not signed in, we also keep the homes you save in your browser's local storage, so they are still there next time.
Analytics and marketing cookies
We do not use any analytics or marketing cookies at the moment. If we add them, they will be off until you switch them on, and this page will list each one before it is used.
Other services on our pages
When you open a map, it is loaded from Google Maps, and Google receives your IP address and the area you are looking at. The payment form is loaded from Stripe. Their own privacy policies apply to what they collect.
Your choices
You can change your choices at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or here:
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, signing in and booking won't work.
