Accessibility statement
最后更新于 2026年10月14日。
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to find and book a stay on Bookalizer, and every host to be able to run their business on it. We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This statement also explains how the service meets the European Accessibility Act for guests in the EU.
What you should be able to do
- Use every part of the site with a keyboard only, with visible focus.
- Use a screen reader. Pages have proper headings, labels and landmarks, and images of homes have text descriptions where hosts provide them.
- Zoom text to 200% and use the site on a phone held either way up.
- Choose dates in the calendar with the keyboard, or type them.
- Paste passwords and one-time codes, and use a password manager.
- Read every price in full, with each charge listed.
Known limitations
- Maps are provided by a third party and can be hard to use with a screen reader. Every map has a text list of the same homes and addresses next to it.
- Photo descriptions are written by hosts, and some may be missing. We ask hosts to add them and flag missing ones in their workspace.
Accessible homes
Hosts can list access features such as step-free entrance, wide doorways, a roll-in shower and grab rails. You can filter by them. If you need to check a detail before booking, message the host. They must answer honestly.
Feedback and help
If you find a barrier, or need information in a different format, email support@bookalizer.com. We aim to reply within 2 working days. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (in Great Britain) or the market surveillance authority for accessibility in your EU country.
